Whilst I enjoyed most of the performances on this one I did feel that it was a good example of how some dancers just don’t come alive when there isn’t a big audience to react with. That was certainly the case with Rania and sometimes with Ansuya and Tamra-Henna, as there were times when they looked they’d gone off in a trance. Aziza is just a pleasure to watch, she radiates warmth and sincerity in her dancing, and she looked like she was enjoying herself immensely. Jillina’s performance to Tahtil Shibbak was enchanting. There is a nice selection of costumes to admire, mainly based on a theme of red, but one dancer in particular looked like the heat of the ‘fire’ was getting just a tad too hard to deal with. I made a mental note after watching - always buy a good antiperspirant and don’t wear tight fitting costumes in a hot studio. It was worth the money and I have definitely watched it more than once!
