We are delighted to announce that talented photographer Kathryn Goddard will be on hand to take photos on Friday evening! Kathryn is a talented photographer who is also a dancer herself so she has a good eye for what makes a great dance photo. Kathryn will also have a small studio set up on Friday evening where you can have portraits taken in a professional setting.
UPDATE!
Photographs from Friday night are now available for viewing on Kathryn's website.

Guidelines
The deadline for sending in your booking slip is 25th October 2009 . Unfortunately we are unable to accept further submissions after this date.
Download the entry form HERE
Please make sure when sending in your booking slip, that you provide us with contact details for prior to the weekend. In the event that two people book to use the same piece of music we will give preference to the delegate whose details we receive first and contact the other performer for an alternative number. So don't forget to rehearse more than one number!
Please don't assume that because you have danced in the platform in the past that you are guaranteed a space the following year. Everyone has to send their information in *before* the deadline - if we haven't received it then you won't be performing. If your name doesn't appear on the list of performers here and you have sent in your details please contact us immediately - celebratingdance@live.com
All numbers must be approximately 4 minutes long. We can be a little flexible but absolutely no more than 4.5 please! We appreciate that that is not long, but it is the only way to give as many people as possible the opportunity to take part. Performances are timed, if your music runs over then we will fade it out!
No numbers involving fire or smoke.
All performers must be ready to go on at the start of the segment they are in.
Performers not ready in time will forfeit their spot if they turn up more than two numbers after their official spot. We run to a tight schedule!
Performers should hand in their music (clearly labeled with their name and the track to be played) to the coordinator. You will be able to check where you are in the running order at the Registration Desk and ask any questions you might have about the arrangements for your performance. Running order sheets will be posted in various points around the performance venues so that you can check what time you are on.
Please bring a back-up recording of your music just in case of problems and note that we are unable to play tapes or Mp3 files - CDs only please.
Whilst we welcome numbers that could be described as 'experimental' or unusual in style, no performances involving lewd movements, inappropriate costuming or sexually explicit lyrics please. If you wouldn't dance it for your pre-teen children or your grandma then it isn't suitable for Celebrating Dance. :-) Celebrating Dance is NOT the place to showcase your talents as a burlesque dancer - sorry!
