Farida Dance - run by Kay Taylor, Farida has a superb range of high quality dance wear from many of Cairo's most respected designers including the late and much missed Madame Abla, Eman Zaki, and Madame Hekmak. Kay also carries designs by top Turkish designer Bella. You can have most of the costumes made-to-measure and the service is fast and efficient. I always enjoy dealing with Kay and you know that you are going receive exactly what you ordered at a high standard. |

Auric Blends - Hand dipped incense sticks, perfume oils, nag champa incense, Egyptian Goddess products and henna tattoos - Afra wears several of their wonderful fragrance oils. Her current favourites are: Egyptian Goddess, Fire Goddess, Patchouly and Chinese Rain. |

Dance Shoes Online (click on logo for link) - because of an ongoing problem with my feet I am now starting to wear shoes more and more often when I perform. However, finding shoes in lower heels in pretty styles has proved difficult. Up to now that is. DSOL offer an incredible range of dance shoes in just about every style and colour that you can think of and they will also custom-make some designs too. Their prices make them extremely good value for money and I will be ordering from them regularly in the future. I am an affiliate of this company.

Metronome Music - Just starting to sell world music, and the HMC range of CDs and DVDs. They come very highly recommended with competitive prices and excellent service. They don't have the complete catalogue online yet but you can always call them if you want something that's not currently listed. |

Whirling Dervish Dance Wear - This is a company run by Michelle Pender. She carries an excellent range of costumes and accessories in a wide range of styles. I have bought many costumes from her all of which I am extremely pleased with. My latest purchase was a custom-made bedlah by top Cairo designer Eman Zaki. It looks fabulous and I have received lots of compliments every time I wear it. |

Aladdin's Cave - My first stop shop for music and videos/DVDs in the UK. They also sell excellent mesh bodies and other dance accessories like hip belts. I have know Irene & Edwin for many years - they are lovely people and great to deal with. They trade at other major dance festivals and have a mobile souk for smaller events. |

Inessa Bellydance - I have only bought from this supplier once, but Inessa was extremely helpful. I needed a white/silver Turkish bedlah at very short notice and she arranged for Topkapi to put one aside for me and then organised a customised version at no extra cost. I would definitely buy from her again. |
